I wanted to share some of my recent fisheye and sampler shots with you. If you don't already know, a sampler is afilm camera that takes four consecutive photos within either 0.2 seconds or a 2 second time frame. I bought my sampler in LA these holidays at the awesome lomography shop and I love it! If your in New Zealand or Australia visit http://www.lomography.ashop.com.au/ to have a peek at the other trendy film cameras they sell. You might know an Iphone application called 'pudding cam' which is basically a copy of the sampler film camera effect. Here's a picture of a sampler camera if you've never seen one before:
How cute is it! Mine's a pearly white and I love the little string that you pull which advances the film to the next photo. Here's a few shots from my first roll.
I've also got a fisheye camera and an underwater case for my baby that my beautiful friends all chipped in to buy me for my birthday. One roll of 36 film costs about $17 to develop at the lomo shop in Paddington in Sydney and then I scan my favourites onto my computer. The good thing about my fisheye is that it has a built in flash whereas the sampler has no flash so it can't be used indoors. Then again the sampler was only $50 - bargain! That's cos i bought in the US where everything is half price haha.
If you ever want to post any of my photos on another website like tumblr please give credit to my photos by just copying and pasting my blogspot URL underneath them! That would be much appreciated x
